Hutchinson managed to score 11 times this season for his promoted loan side from down the wings, with Broja in need of rediscovering his clinical edge in front of goal too, which saw him net nine times for previous employers Southampton in just one Premier League season back in 2022.

If McKenna can get the 6 foot 3 forward firing on all cylinders again too, after a forgettable move to Fulham didn't go to plan with eight goalless appearances managed, he could fill the gap left behind by Moore who starred in the Championship briefly alongside Hutchinson.

Similar in stature to the Welshman, who stands at an equally lofty 6 foot 5, Broja will hope he can be an adequate replacement for the prolific journeyman if signed.

Whilst Moore operates more as a poacher-style figure whenever he's been selected up top for his many sides, often using his imposing frame to his advantage to beat players and score, Broja could suit the likes of Nathan Broadhead and Conor Chaplin even more at Portman Road with his tricky skills on the ball.

In the last year, when comparing the two on FBref, Broja beats Moore for successful take-ons and progressive passes received – coming in at 2.49 take-ons and 7.31 progressive passes averaged per 90 minutes, contrasted with the Welshman's lesser 0.47 and 6.39 respectively.

Described as an "animal" in the past by the Athletic's Jacob Tanswell during his goalscoring peak at the Saints, Ipswich could be the location where Broja justifies this label again, having seen first-hand the transformative impact McKenna had on Hutchinson.

Shakib Al Hasan has urged cricketers not to take any corrupt approach lightly, and to report them to anti-corruption officials as soon as possible. Speaking in a Youtube video where he took questions from fans and journalists, Shakib repented his failure to report an approach, for which he was banned for 12 months by the ICC. The ban came to an end on October 29.At the time of his sentencing last year, the ICC’s anti-corruption unit published evidence that Shakib had been in contact with bookie Deepak Aggarwal (who was later banned for two years by the ICC) and had exchanged Whatsapp messages with him since November 2017.”I regret getting suspended, and I was repentant,” Shakib said. “I shouldn’t have made this mistake. I think I will get a great lesson out of it. I would urge everyone not to make this mistake. Whenever a similar situation arises, you should abide by your responsibility according to the ICC code of conduct.”You should inform an anti-corruption officer, whether local or international. Another ICC battlefront has opened up in the form of the world’s players seeking recompense for their exploitation in third party commercial deals with ICC partners, at a time when the global body is beset by issues around Covid-19, wrangles over the board’s next chairman and a decidedly murky picture for global events and bilateral tours beyond 2023.ESPNcricinfo has learned that the Federation of International Cricketers Associations (FICA) has written to the ICC management, expressing an intention to take a range of issues around the players’ commercial rights into the grievance process set out in the terms for squads participating in global events. This would be a precursor to a formal legal dispute, after talks between the parties in recent months failed to get close to a resolution of the issue.The increasing exploitation of the commercial and intellectual property rights of female players – fast emerging as ever more saleable names for sponsors and broadcasters off the back of this year’s wildly successful T20 World Cup in Australia – are believed to be particularly problematic in terms of the examples that FICA has raised.Tom Moffat, FICA’s chief executive, recently contacted players across the globe to update them on the dispute and a resolution to act collectively.”We are in the process of challenging the unauthorised use of player images / attributes / content by the ICC and its commercial partners, including in: a fantasy cricket game, individual player content used by an ICC sponsor, and a documentary featuring players and individual player content,” Moffat told the players. “This follows a similar issue with trading cards in 2017.”These types of products are important in promoting the game, but are also commercially valuable to the ICC and their partners largely because your attributes, appearances, data and content are used in them.
